Steps to repair a mattress with Liquid PVC:
Preparation for repair:
- Surface cleaning. Before starting the repair, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the puncture site from dirt and dust and degrease the entire application area.
- Mattress deflation. Deflate the mattress slightly to relieve pressure at the repair site.
Use of liquid PVC:
- Application of liquid PVC. Carefully apply the substance from the tube to the damaged area without smearing it on the surface.
- Drying time. Follow product instructions for drying time. Usually, this process takes from two to three hours and depends on the temperature and thickness of the layer of applied material. Do not twist and preferably do not move the mattress until the repair site is completely dry.
- Leakage test. After the liquid PVC dries, check the mattress for tightness by filling it with air and smearing the repair area with a soapy foaming solution.
